I lay in the sun, and saw a spider. It was a tiny smudge against the blue. I found an easy recipe for maple syrup flapjacks, but have changed it to golden syrup flapjacks. It’s taken me 5 tries to get the perfect flapjack, and in my opinion (and my Uncle Peter’s; he’s a big fan) they are just heavenly. Lol.
One of our most inspiring bloggers, @bereavedsingledad , has agreed to write a guest post for us about the loss of his father when he was younger. It is a lovely post, and we are very grateful that Gary was able to write for us. Here is the link to his blog, so you can give him a read; grab a cup of tea, because you’ll be reading for a while! As soon as you start, you won’t want to stop.
I understand that a post may not do a lot, but I hope it can help someone, somewhere feel less alone. I have started to write ‘Quarantine Tips’ which are posts that will focus on trying to make the best of a bad situation and how we can help our mental health during this time. They will be out on Fridays.
