Happy

I hope you are enjoying this hot weather, and I hope you are feeling fulfilled.

If you had told me life would be like this for me 6 or 7 months ago, I would have laughed in your face.

I thought my life was on a set trajectory and that nothing I could do would make a difference.

I was wrong.

I was so wrong.

Before I saw happiness as something fragile. I was afraid that the moment I accepted and believed I was happy, the feeling would fly from my fingertips. I would fall back on my bum. Now I see happiness with her own heartbeat: up and down, up and down, but always consistent.

Nothing but hope, love, and smiles evolves from self improvement 🀍 thank you for bearing witness to my journey.

Sending you a big hug.

Your friend,

Evee x

  1. Life does not follow a straight line. There are always twists and turns and hills to climb……..but it is a journey, which we must follow with a loving, happy heart. Bless you both! What a gorgeous photo πŸ’πŸ’πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

  2. Hi, Evee! We reached 80⁰F (27⁰C) for a high a few weeks ago, and many days since. Ready for SNOW anytime!
A friend noted, you can always put more layers ON, but you can only take OFF so much before someone calls the police . . . especially if one is my age! πŸ˜‚

  3. Seeing anyone else happy is infectious for me. Happiness brings positive energy and that spreads to others just as petty jealousy can bring on negativity.

  4. πŸ’œ Still waiting for permission to ask the question; both of YOU!!!

  6. I am glad to see happiness in your life, Evee! I leave you with an old Irish blessing:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
    And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
