#19 Thursday Thoughts: What Has Saved You?

From people, to films, and fun; what made you realise why you had carried on holding on?

For us, it is the feeling after a long, hard laugh, being exhausted after a long day of doing something fun, my family and all of you in this Grief Reality community. 🤍

  1. What “saved” me was “remembering” a verse of the Bible that I had never read. Faced with a major decision, Proverbs 28:13 came to mind, not the reference but the quote, “Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.” It was as if I was reading a page of a book in my mind! Later I had to look this up in a concordance and found the reference . . . after it had literally “saved” my life. If I had continued to try to conceal things, I most likely would have been dead within a short time.
There is a God and He can reveal Himself to anyone who wishes to know Him. He did for me.
You two lovely ladies are prayed for every day when the Lord and I take a “prayer walk” around the world and again when ever I see our blogs. I sincerely hope you learn what it means to follow Jesus.
    your friend, always,

  2. Thank you for sharing!!.. every morning I woke up on the green side of the grass and were able to follow my heart…. 🙂

    Until we meet again..
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
May green be the grass you walk on
May blue be the skies above you
May pure be the joys that surround you
May true be the hearts that love you.
