The past month may have just been the busiest of my adult life. We decided to rent the house, which meant packing away ten years of memories and transporting it all up to my uncle’s house. Probate was finally approved which welcomed the next steps as executor, and meetings with solicitors. I had to find a job and subsequently somewhere to live.
And today we finally took Evee to university, exactly a year after her deferred arrival date.
I’m made up for my little sister and best friend. So proud of how she has overcome every challenge thrown at her and still able to find the positive in every situation.
After last year I think I always feared that we’d be left behind.
My uncle and I are currently stuck in a traffic jam on the M3 in his now empty van, and my heart is so full knowing that despite everything our family has faced we are exactly where we are meant to be.
